Abecita Art Museum

Photography and Pop Art – all under one roof!

Photography and graphic art

Abecita Arts Museum exhibits international photography and graphic art from Europe and the US and also textile art from the Nordic, 3 floors in total 2400m². The collection is unique in Europe and comprises approx. 400 works, represented by some 30 artists. It sets out from the breakthrough of the pop art in the 60s with eminent works from every decade up to today.

Except pop art and graphic art, Abecita Arts Museum has a keen focus on photography, with exhibitions which complete the permanent collection. Every year the museum presents at least 15 different exhibitions by both Swedish and international photographers.

The museum has a café and a shop. The coffee is on the house!
